How
do you do that?
Our
approach works because it doesn't add to your overwhelm with too
many steps or complicated systems. We concentrate on three key elements:
1.Flexible
Structure - Everyone talks about how kids need structure. Its true
they do, but adding in some flexibility in a way that nurtures can make
a huge difference in how that structure feels to you and your kids.
The key is finding the right balance for you and for them.
2. Self
Nurturing - If you are exhausted all the time, you simply cannot
nurture your children the way you would want. Its like trying to fill
up the car with gas using an empty gas pump. Maintaining your spiritual,
emotional, and physical health is key to being the best mom you can
be.
3 Non-judgmental
support - Getting the support of others who have traveled the same
path and really understand at a deep level what you are going through,
can bring you new perspectives and hope.
All
three of these elements are fundamental to raising happy and successful
children.
They
are also fundamental in helping you to feel less stressed out and more
in balance.
